Creating a calm environment for meditation is essential for achieving a centered mind. One of the most impactful yet often overlooked tools in designing a quiet space is light. The nature, direction, and color of light can deeply influence your mood, making it a key ally in crafting a Zen meditation space.


Daylight is one of the best choices when setting up your meditation area. Position your space near a window where soft sunlight can enter, especially during the sunrise or twilight.
